“Either Everyone Is Important, or No One Is”: Lessons That Shaped My Life
Some of the best advice we ever receive comes from the people who know us best. For me, it came from my mother, a woman whose wisdom often seemed simple on the surface — but carried a depth that only becomes clear over time. She used to say:
“Either everyone is important, or no one is.”
At first, I didn’t fully grasp what she meant. Was she talking about family? Friends? The people we meet in passing? Over the years, I’ve come to realize it applies to all of life. It’s a lens through which to view how we interact, lead, and even succeed.
