Have You Found Your Purpose, Yet?

Like most people, you’re probably focused on achieving your goals and making the most of your potential. But maybe you have overlooked something that turns out to be fundamental not just to your success, but to your happiness?

I found my purpose the day I realized how easy it is to help others feel important. Sometimes helping others is just a small gesture and sometimes its a big deal. My purpose is to elevate others and make them feel that they matter. You see when I was just starting out in business I thought my purpose was to make money. To be somebody. To be loved and respected by my piers. But it was more than that. Early on a woman I just met helped me to see my purpose. She made me feel important. She listened to me. That what I had to say made a difference. She invited me to a Zig Zigler workshop where he shared his life’s mantra: You can have everything in life you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want.

That simple gesture and what I learned that day changed my perspective and my life. It taught me that helping others not only benefits those you help, it also has a profound impact on your own well-being and
